About this role:

In this role, you will:
Accountable for managing efforts and initiatives to obtain and analyze customer/competitive information and market research related to development and testing of requested consumer mortgage needs and other financing (aka down payment/closing cost assistance), products, programs, and features.
Consult/partner with Home Lending Originations and Servicing, Enterprise LOB Product Development groups, Government Relations and Public Policy, Marketing, and other key business stakeholders to obtain input and buy-in.
Manage the research, considering external factors, competitiveness, and barriers while balancing against Wells Fargo objectives (i.e., underserved customers, special purpose credit programs, Bank and WIM customers, etc).
Provide primary focus on the customer experience, needs and requirements.
Responsible for providing senior level strategic consulting services using in-depth knowledge and expertise regarding Wells Fargo’s Home Lending Originations Products while balancing against emerging trends and the competitive landscape in the industry.
Consult with senior management/leaders on a frequent basis regarding direction and activities associated with the Home Lending product sets, new legislation, investor/insurer/association proposals, etc., to define product strategy and create corresponding business plans.
Support communication of the product strategy and corresponding business plans to management.
Manage opportunity sizing and analysis by partnering with Business Insights & Analytics on product usage/relevance, economic objectives, quality, loan performance, portfolio retention, Servicing portfolio, etc
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Job Expectations:

This position requires compliance with all mortgages regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo’s compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule. (3 days in office, 2 remote) Preferred Locations listed below. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
